Stepney City Farm in London’s East End is a working farm, Rural Arts Centre and community meeting place. We give children and adults a chance to meet farm animals, learn how to grow food and try out arts and crafts. Find out more.

  • Weekly farmers market selling fresh local produce. 10am-3pm

Sunday 20th April

  • Farm open to public 9.30am-4pm
  • Young open volunteers 1-4pm Anyone welcome
  • Cooked Stepney Breakfast in the cafe. From 10am
  • Easter Sunday Egg Hunt and Family Fun Day: 11-3pm, Free
    Our annual treasure hunt for families – find clues around the farm and and solve them for your chance to win a prize. Our Rural Artists in residence will also be hosting a crafty session, making special easter toys: Chick-in-Eggs for you to make and play with. Meet our baby animals and welcome in the spring chickens.

Monday 21st April

  • Farm OPEN to public for Bank Holiday

  • New exhibition in Gallery opens with photos of the farm

Tuesday 22nd April

  • Farm open to public 9.30am-4pm

  • Furry Tales at Rootless Garden’s Peel Centre Easter Party 13.00-15.30pm Email ione@furry-tales.org.uk to volunteer with our animal therapy sessions.

Thursday 24th April

  • Farm open to public 9.30am-4pm
  • Knitting group 11am-2pm in the cafe. Come and join professional textile artists for some knitting and knattering. Everyone welcome

Friday 25th April

  • Farm open to public 9.30am-4pm
  • Frog Prince, singing session for kids 11-12 noon
  • Open Volunteers 1pm-4pm Anyone welcome
