ANIMALS – SWING DANCING – HISTORY TALK – FUN – GAMES – COMPETITIONS & MUCH MORE
On Sunday 12th June we will be celebrating 6 years of Stepney City Farm.
There has been a farm on this site since 1979 (find out more on our history here), but in 2009 the new charity – Stepney City Farm – was formed. This is a chance to come together to enjoy a meal and celebrate everything that has been achieved here by local residents.
Throughout the day there will be activities to join in with, along with two open competitions to be judged by one of our Trustees! Could you be a winner?
- Best cake
- Best jam / chutney
Activities on the day will include meeting the large animals, meeting the small furries with Furry Tales, have a go at swing dancing, hear from the lead archaeologist of the Crossrail Dig at Stepney Green, bring your decorated cake and jam/chutney for judging… our very own Farm Mini Olympics ….
