The Green Wood Guild
London’s centre for the traditional craft of Green Woodwork
The Green Wood Guild is a centre of excellence dedicated to the practice of ancient woodworking techniques. Through experience, knowledge and experimentation we develop quality hand-made products that are both functional and beautiful.
Open Studio Saturdays
Saturday’s are a chance to visit our open studio, learn about what we do and try one of our have-a-go sessions, all for free. We also run inexpensive mini workshops on a Saturday, to make something that you can take home and use.
These are held on Tuesdays & Fridays and are a great way to get involved with the work that we do – spending a day a week working on a variety of tasks to maintain and improve the workshop. Whether for 6 months or just a few weeks, we’re always looking for people who are keen to come on board. An opportunity to learn a few skills and to gain experience in a workshop environment.

Team Building & Office Away Days
We offer a range of workshops and woody activities for team building and corporate away days, based at our large workshop on the Farm. These can be anything from large-scale projects to mini-workshops, but all involve the use of ancient tools and methods, and working with green wood from locally felled trees.
For a list of available projects, please email us at email@example.com
Demos & Events
The Green Wood Guild is also mobile and available for events. All of our workshops are portable and come fully equipped with the necessary tools and materials, enabling us to give demonstrations or teaching anywhere in and around London.
