The Farm will be hosting our very first fundraiser and recognising Summer Solstice with an extra special event on Monday, 20 June 6-11pm.
Expect a fire-pit, Mexican themed nibbles (for the meat eaters, veggies and vegans amongst us), stand up comedy, pizza making in our cob oven, willow weaving and sculpture making, rabbit observation for Rabbit Awareness Week and more.
Win prizes donated by our Rural Artists and local businesses in a raffle – it’s a chance to get your paws on a class with Jess the Potter, The Green Wood Guild‘s beautiful woodcraft, an intricate embroidery by Stitches In Time or a stained glass workshop for two from Coat of Glass. Additional raffle items include generous donations from Sipsmith, Androuet, Tramshed, Pearly Queen Honey, Climpson and Sons and Ole Henriksen amongst others.
We’d love you to join us for an evening of celebrating the Farm, our community and summer! Stepney City Farm Cafe Chef Christina Chan will be whipping up some great food thanks to ingredients kindly sourced by longtime Farm friend Chef Ben Tish. Our bar will be generously stocked with Sipsmith London Cup, beer from the FourPure Brewery in Bermondsey, Kentish Cider from Core, Dalston Cola and more!
Advance tickets are £20 – which in addition to all the fun will include two drinks and nibbles. Tickets will also be sold at the gate for £25 and additional food and drink will be available for purchase on site. All proceeds help us keep the Farm free to visit and continue our projects with children, youth, elders and the local community. Events kick off at 6:30pm and the Raffle will be drawn at 10pm.
Tickets can be purchased online here.
