Furry Tales

Connecting people to animals, nature and each other

Furry Tales brings different generations together over a love of nature and animals. We run animal-assisted and nature-based activities onsite at the Farm and at local residential care facilities to combat isolation and increase social opportunities for older people in Tower Hamlets.

club_plantersSessions include:

– learning how to health-check & care for guinea pigs, rabbits and bantam hens

– nature-based creative activities

– herb & vegetable growing

– opportunities to socialise with people of all ages

How can I get involved?

Furry Tales Club sessions run every Friday afternoon, 1:30-2:30pm, at the Farm. Email ione@stepneycityfarm.org for a referral form.

If you’re interested in receiving an Outreach Package, please read our information guide. Places for 2017 are limited so contact us asap if you’d like to book.

If you’re looking to volunteer, you can find out more at www.furry-tales.org.uk/get-involved or just turn up to one of the Farm’s Open Volunteers sessions.

This animal is so happy, it’s making me happy too.’
